60 Years Since Shea Stadium - FREE Print Offer

On 15th August 1965, The Beatles made history at Shea Stadium, New York. Before a crowd of more than 55,000, they gave the world’s first-ever stadium concert by a rock ’n’ roll band – a milestone live performance and a defining moment in music history.

'It was marvellous. It was the biggest crowd we ever played to, anywhere in the world. And it was fantastic, the most exciting we've done.'  – John Lennon

'Once you go on stage and you know you've filled a place that size, it's magic; just walls of people.' – Paul McCartney

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this momentous milestone, any order of the below editions will be delivered with two complimentary 10" × 8" archival prints. Presented together in a black envelope with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the publishers, the prints are:

  • Shea Stadium – a hand-drawn illustration by Roy Williams, originally featured in Derek Taylor’s Fifty Years Adrift (1984).
  • Beatles Airline Bag – a photograph taken by Genesis founder Brian Roylance, depicting the specially produced TWA-branded bags from the 1965 U.S. tour.

This exclusive offer is valid between now and midnight on Sunday 17th August, while stocks last.
