‘Rob Roth has assembled the largest collection of classic rock graphics in the world.’ – Sir Elton John
Following the sell-out of the original 500-copy edition of Rock Visions in 2025, a limited number of Artist Proof copies have been released.
Signed by Sir Elton John and Rob Roth, these Artist Proof copies were created from additional introductory pages signed by Elton beyond the planned limitation.
Featuring more than 1,700 rare artefacts from the world's largest collection of classic rock graphics, Rock Visions documents the visual history of artists including Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Queen, KISS and The Who.
For collectors who missed the original edition, this represents a final opportunity to acquire one of Genesis Publications' most ambitious music archives.
Led Zeppelin's Presence — 50 Years On
Fifty years after the release of Presence, the original sculpture created for Storm Thorgerson's iconic album cover remains in existence.
Known simply as "The Object", the mysterious black monolith appeared throughout the album's artwork and became one of the defining visual statements of the 1970s. Reflecting on the concept, Storm later remarked:
'The Object (or power source) was as mysterious as Led Zeppelin. It didn't need to be physically huge because it was powerful.' – Storm Thorgerson
Today, the original sculpture forms part of Rob Roth's collection and is presented in Rock Visions alongside Storm Thorgerson's original Presence artwork, photographic slides and rare Led Zeppelin memorabilia.
ROCK VISIONS chronicles the art of 12 titans of rock: Alice Cooper, Bad Company, David Bowie, Elton John, Journey, KISS, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Steve Miller Band and The Who.
From original tour programs to backstage passes, concert tickets, t-shirts, posters, and record sleeves, ROCK VISIONS documents the graphic legacy imprinted on modern culture by the biggest names in rock - an astounding showcase of over 1,700 rare, vintage treasures.
Rob Roth's classic rock graphics collection - the largest of its kind in the world - features the work of leading photographers such as David Bailey, Brian Duffy, Robert Frank, Mick Rock, and Terry O'Neill; celebrated artists and illustrators such as Alan Aldridge, Peter Blake, Shepard Fairey, Gerald Scarfe, and Andy Warhol; and revolutionary graphic designers such as Aubrey Powell, John Pasche, and Storm Thorgerson.
'Rob Roth is obsessive/compulsive, like me. He went crazy, purchasing thousands of rare, vintage items from his favourite bands. Now, he has assembled the largest collection of classic rock graphics in the world. Obsessive/compulsive can be a good thing.' – Alice Cooper
'Part of being a collector is documenting and sharing the collection. At a backstage visit on my Farewell Tour I told Rob that if he didn't do this, he was just a "degenerate hoarder." We laughed, but it was true.' – Sir Elton John
From the grandeur of Led Zeppelin, to the glam energy of David Bowie, the revolutionary soundscapes of Pink Floyd, and the indomitable spirit of the Rolling Stones, each chapter of ROCK VISIONS celebrates a band whose influence remains timeless.
Introduced by Sir Elton John, ROCK VISIONS offers a unique and intimate look into the world of rock legends. Alongside text captions from each of the featured artists, Rob Roth adds his historical knowledge, bringing context and life to each item in the collection. The edition also includes an essay by David Furnish and an afterword by Alice Cooper, making this more than just a collection of memorabilia - but a chance to hear directly from the people who have helped shape rock music as we know it.
'I don't know if I can convey in words how much joy my collection has brought me. The artwork ties me back to the music I grew up loving.' – Rob Roth
Curating this edition is Rob Roth, a Tony Award-nominated Broadway director and lifelong collector whose archive now exceeds 10,000 items.
Having directed productions and concert tours for artists including Alice Cooper, KISS, Cyndi Lauper and Steve Miller, Roth brings decades of creative experience and collecting passion to Rock Visions.
'It is particularly thrilling that Rock Visions is being published by Genesis. Their big, gorgeous, super high-quality books created with Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Page, The Who and others have fuelled my passion for rock graphics.' – Rob Roth
