Tom Petty Launch Party at Gibson Garage

Last week, fans and friends came together at the Gibson Garage London to celebrate Tom Petty’s legendary solo album Wildflowers and the release of the forthcoming Tom Petty: Wildflowers limited edition book, signed by Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench.

Following a reception in Gibson's main showroom, where a one-of-a-kind advance sample of Tom Petty: Wildflowers was on display, Adria Petty was welcomed onto the stage by host Matt Everitt for a deeply insightful and often moving conversation about the book's creation. They were joined by Genesis publishers Nick and Catherine Roylance, with Genesis author Olivia Harrison also in attendance.

Rounded off by a beautiful acoustic cover of 'Wildflowers' by British indie duo Jack & Daisy, and with a stunning synthesiser-drenched interpretation of 'Hung Up and Overdue' and 'Wake Up Time' by Brazilian Girls frontwoman Sabina Sciubba, the evening was a fitting addition to the roster of events put on by the Tom Petty estate in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Wildflowers and Genesis Publications' release of Tom Petty: Wildflowers.
