Tom Morello and Fender Unite to Celebrate an Iconic Guitar

Tom Morello has partnered with Fender to honour one of the most recognisable instruments in modern rock history: his legendary ‘Arm the Homeless’ guitar.

For more than 35 years, the heavily modified ‘Arm the Homeless’ guitar has been Morello's primary instrument, capable of shifting from delicate, jazz-inflected passages to explosive, genre-defying riffs. Finished in striking Blue Ice Metallic and emblazoned with its uncompromising slogan alongside Morello’s hand-drawn hippopotamus motif, the guitar has become both a musical tool and a symbol of artistic rebellion.

The new Fender release captures every defining detail of the original, from its distinctive electronics to its unmistakable visual identity. In keeping with Morello’s long-standing commitment to social justice, Fender and Tom Morello have also pledged donations from the project to organisations supporting people experiencing homelessness, reinforcing the idea that music and social responsibility can exist side by side.
