Ringo Starr and Ronnie Wood Join Paul McCartney in Rare Supergroup Performance

Beatles fans were delighted by a special performance - involving two Genesis authors - at Paul McCartney's sell-out concert at London's O2 arena earlier this week.

Ringo Starr and Ronnie Wood joined McCartney on stage for an extraordinary supergroup encore performance of the Beatles classic "Get Back". Afterwards Ringo came to the mike to say, "I don't know about you, but it was incredible for me," before wishing everyone "Peace and love and Happy Christmas".

The show was part of Paul McCartney's Freshen Up Tour, which is in support of his recent album Egypt Station, the tour will continue in the New Year in South and North America.

McCartney isn't the only one, though, to tour the US in 2019. Ringo Starr is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his All-Starr Band with a string of dates, and Wood and the Rolling Stones also plan to bring their No Filter Tour to the US.
