Eric Clapton Announces Royal Albert Hall Residency for 2021
Next year, Eric Clapton will perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London for three nights. The venue holds special significance for the legendary musician who made his debut there in 1964 as part of the Yardbirds and went on to perform there more than 200 times, marking 50 years of a career in music, as well as celebrating his 70th birthday there in 2015. Tickets will go on sale on Friday 9 October at 10:00am.
The residency marks his only UK shows, before going on his rescheduled European tour. Like many artists who had upcoming tours this year, Eric had to postpone his due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but it has since been rescheduled to Spring 2021.
