This spring, we open the Genesis House archives to present a carefully curated selection of rare signed books and fine art prints — many long retained within the Genesis archive and rarely released.
Rare Editions 2026 begins today, with further archival releases to follow throughout March. Each piece has been selected for its cultural significance, condition and provenance, and is offered in strictly limited numbers. All copies are drawn from the Genesis archive and are supplied with their original publication materials where available.
Please note: placing an item in your basket does not secure it. Only completion of checkout guarantees your purchase.
A percentage of all Rare Editions sales will be donated to our chosen local cause, The Fountain Centre, supporting cancer patients, their families and carers.
Only four Deluxe copies signed by George Martin, accompanied by a Peter Blake–signed t-shirt.
In Summer of Love: The Making of Sgt. Pepper, Sir George Martin shares his first-hand account of the recording of each song on the Beatles’ groundbreaking album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, as well as its forebears and aftermath – from ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ and ‘Penny Lane’ to ‘All You Need Is Love’ and Magical Mystery Tour.
Taking his 1994 memoir (With A Little Help From My Friends in the US) as its starting point, George Martin and Genesis created a new and revised Summer of Love, capturing the spirit and vitality of 1967. Featuring expanded text and illustrated with nearly 150 rare and archival photographs – many individually coloured and embellished – the limited edition was published in 2007 to mark the album’s 40th anniversary. The result is one of the most visually ambitious books Genesis has ever produced, long since fully subscribed.
For the first time since publication, Genesis is releasing from the archive a small number of full-leather copies of Summer of Love: The Making of Sgt Pepper, each signed by Sir George Martin. Produced to Deluxe specification and preserved in their original two-piece presentation boxes, these copies were retained prior to the completion of the Deluxe edition and were not issued as part of the numbered release.
Each copy is fully bound in Italian fine-grain leather with gold blocking and page edging, inset with a specially commissioned portrait of George Martin by Sir Peter Blake. Given his role in the creation of the iconic Sgt. Pepper cover, Blake’s involvement is especially fitting. His artwork appears exclusively on the Deluxe binding.
Each of these archive copies is additionally accompanied by the original t-shirt created for the Deluxe edition, individually hand-signed by Sir Peter Blake and featuring his portrait of George Martin – a piece many collectors choose to preserve and display.
Only four of these Deluxe archive copies are now available. Each is presented in mint, boxed condition and accompanied by the original publication brochure.
Only four Deluxe Artist Proof archive copies signed by Def Leppard, accompanied by a curated selection of original launch material.
Announced at the end of 2022, the Deluxe copies of Definitely: The Story of Def Leppard were fully subscribed within 24 hours, with the entire edition selling out within weeks, making it one of the fastest-selling Genesis editions of its time. A small number of Artist Proof Deluxe copies of the band’s official anthology have been retained in the Genesis archive.
Now, for the first time, four of these are presented as part of a Genesis Archive Collection – bringing together the Deluxe Artist Proof edition, a limited-issue Publisher’s Copy, and a Poster Boxed Set, including the official poster created for the London launch of Definitely.
Numbered in Roman numerals and signed by Joe Elliott, Phil Collen, Rick Allen, Rick Savage and Vivian Campbell, the Deluxe edition is fully bound in black vegan leather and presented in its original clamshell box.
The set includes the complete suite of memorabilia: a 7" vinyl record featuring unreleased live recordings of ‘Animal’ and ‘Slang’, a Diamond Star Halos cassette, guitar picks and replica tour passes. The centrepiece of the Deluxe boxed set is an archival-grade photographic print from the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. Suitable for framing, the print is signed by Joe Elliott, Phil Collen, Rick Allen, Rick Savage and Vivian Campbell (10" x 8").
A rare limited-edition A2 poster from the time of publication is also included, featuring a montage of band photographs reproduced from the interior lining of the handcrafted clamshell box.
A specially created edition of Definitely, housed in a slipcase and accompanied by an exclusive 8" x 10" photographic print and a facsimile Def Leppard concert ticket.
Available only for a limited time.
From the Genesis archive, a handcrafted box set containing 10 collectable posters produced for landmark publications.
Included is the official poster created for the London launch of Definitely at the Royal Festival Hall, 16 May 2023 – presented alongside posters for titles by artists including Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Yusuf / Cat Stevens.
For collectors, these Archive Sets offer Def Leppard’s landmark anthology Definitely not only as a signed Artist Proof Deluxe edition, but present it within the wider context of its publication – from launch materials to a Publisher’s Copy of the first hardcover printing.

Four Deluxe Archive Sets with Signed ‘Casbah’ Launch Poster
Mike McCartney’s Early Liverpool documents the city and its characters before the emergence of The Beatles on the world stage. Through his own rare and previously unpublished photographs, Mike McCartney's limited edition offers an intimate portrait of Liverpool in the early 1960s – from family life and local streets to the earliest days of a cultural movement that would soon change the world.
Produced alongside the main edition, these Artist Proof copies — numbered in Roman numerals VI–XV — form a distinct subset of the Deluxe boxed sets. Created in a short run during production, they are among the earliest copies of Mike McCartney’s Early Liverpool, retained in the Genesis Publications archive since publication. They are now released exclusively as part of Rare Editions 2026.
The Deluxe boxed set is presented in its original format, accompanied by a complete suite of three fine art prints (10” x 8”). Each archival-grade print is individually numbered and signed by Mike McCartney and captures scenes from Liverpool in the years immediately preceding Beatlemania. John, Paul, George and Ringo are all featured, as well as the author himself.
Each set is further accompanied by a rare exhibition poster from the publication’s London launch at Atlas Gallery, 2022 – signed by Mike McCartney in gold ink. The poster features his original artwork created for an early Beatles appearance at the Casbah Club in Liverpool – a formative moment in the band’s early history (size: A2 / 23 ½” x 16 ½”).
Each Deluxe copy is signed by Mike McCartney and offered in mint condition within its original packaging. Originally published in a limited edition, the Deluxe copies have long since sold out. These Roman numeral copies represent a small group retained in the Genesis archive and are now released for the first time.
Only four Deluxe archive sets are available
18 Kaya Archive Sets available, signed by Kate Simon and Patti Smith, accompanied by a signed poster.
First published by Genesis in 2004, Rebel Music presents Kate Simon’s extraordinary photographic document of Bob Marley and the reggae movement at its cultural peak. Introduced by Patti Smith, the book documents Marley on stage, in the studio and behind the scenes – capturing the spirit, intimacy and political energy of the era through the lens of perhaps the only photographer granted such close access.
In 2023, Genesis returned to this landmark work with a new hardcover edition, featuring additional photography and new contributions by Lenny Kravitz and Keith Richards. From the first printing, a small number of copies were retained and issued as Publisher’s Copies – specially bound in black hemp cloth and presented in a slipcase. Each copy is numbered and signed by Kate Simon and Patti Smith, and accompanied by an exclusive fine art Giclée print, signed and numbered by Kate Simon. The photograph, taken backstage during the Exodus tour in 1977, is reproduced here for the first time.
For Rare Editions 2026, each archive set is further accompanied by a rare exhibition poster featuring Kate Simon’s iconic Kaya portrait of Bob Marley. Printed in large format on heavy-weight paper and signed by the photographer, the image has become one of the defining visual representations of Marley in the late 1970s – capturing both the serenity and strength of the artist at the height of his powers (size: A2 / 23 ½” x 16 ½”).
Only a small number of the Publisher’s Copies now remain. These Kaya Archive Sets bring together the signed book, print and poster as a single presentation, uniting three distinct pieces from Kate Simon’s body of work.
Each copy is offered in mint condition within its original packaging.
