This spring, we open the Genesis House archives to present a carefully curated selection of rare signed books and fine art prints — many long retained within the Genesis archive and rarely released.

Rare Editions 2026 begins today, with further archival releases to follow throughout March. Each piece has been selected for its cultural significance, condition and provenance, and is offered in strictly limited numbers.

Please note: placing an item in your basket does not secure it. Only completion of checkout guarantees your purchase.

A percentage of all Rare Editions sales will be donated to our chosen local cause, The Fountain Centre, supporting cancer patients, their families and carers.

Transformer Archive Copies

Rare Editions 2026

Only 5 Archive copies available, signed by Lou Reed and Mick Rock.

Transformer celebrates the defining creative partnership between Lou Reed and Mick Rock, whose 1972 photography shaped the visual identity of Reed’s seminal album and documented his evolution throughout the decade. Published in 2013, shortly before Reed’s passing, the edition stands as one of the final co-signed works of two towering figures in modern music and photography.

For Rare Editions 2026, each Archive Copy is built around a co-signed Collector edition of Transformer, enhanced with material previously reserved for Deluxe editions and special events.

Each Archive Copy includes:

• A 12" × 8" Giclée Baryta print of Mick Rock’s celebrated 35mm Transformer contact sheet – the original film strips from which the album cover portrait was selected – signed by Mick Rock on the recto
• A commemorative bookplate signed by Mick Rock at the New York Public Library on 9 November 2017, marking the 45th anniversary of Transformer
• A special booklet containing 25 previously unseen photographs and a 2,000-word essay by Mick Rock, produced following Lou Reed’s passing
• The original publication prospectuses issued at the time of release in September 2013

These copies have remained in the publisher’s custody since publication and are supplied in complete, mint boxed condition, as originally issued.

With co-signed copies now permanently finite, this carefully assembled Archive release represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most celebrated Genesis music titles in its most complete form directly from the publisher.

I Me Mine - The Extended Edition

Rare Editions 2026

Only 7 Deluxe Artist Proof copies available, numbered in Roman numerals and estate-stamped.

I Me Mine remains the closest we come to an autobiography by George Harrison. First published in 1980, the 2017 Extended Edition significantly expanded Harrison’s original work, bringing his story fully up to date.

In his own words, I Me Mine spans the breadth of his life and music, incorporating over 50 additional song lyrics (141 in total), extended commentary, and previously unpublished photographs.

Sometime in New York City

Rare Editions 2026

Only 1 Deluxe copy available, signed by Bob Gruen and Yoko Ono.

Sometime in New York City documents the final decade of John Lennon’s life – the romance of John and Yoko set against the restless, creative backdrop of 1970s New York. Told in the words of Yoko Ono and Bob Gruen, and illustrated with intimate photographs selected from Gruen’s archive – many reproduced in full colour and previously unpublished – the book captures Lennon not as icon, but as artist, activist and partner.

Three years in the making, Sometime in New York City was published by Genesis in 1995 as a Deluxe signed limited edition. The first 2,500 copies were signed by both Yoko Ono and Bob Gruen, with the remaining 1,000 signed by Bob Gruen alone.

This copy is drawn from a small number of publisher-retained examples numbered above 2,500 and signed by both contributors – held back from general release at the time of publication.

The large-format volume comprises 236 pages, master-printed in fine screen colour with silver under-printings on 200gsm matt art paper with trace overlays.

Hand-bound in aluminium and leather, the front and back boards are silk-screened with images of John Lennon. The solander case is screened in full colour and finished with a metal title plate.

This copy has remained in the publisher’s custody since publication and is supplied in complete, mint boxed condition, as originally issued.

With only a small number of Deluxe copies now remaining in the Genesis archive, this may represent one of the final opportunities to acquire the edition directly from the publisher.

Rare Editions 2026

Only 4 lithographs available.

Designed in collaboration with the studio Wherefore Art?, the poster was never released commercially and remained unused within the publisher’s archive. The edition comprised only 12 prints in total, of which four are offered here.

Edition details

• Dimensions: 680mm × 980mm (26¾” × 38½”)
• Method: Offset lithography

Speed of Life - Collector

Rare Editions 2026

Only 1 Collector copy available, signed by David Bowie and Masayoshi Sukita.

Speed of Life chronicles the four-decade creative partnership between David Bowie and Masayoshi Sukita, tracing Bowie’s evolution through the photographer’s lens from the 1970s onward. Through photographs and reflective texts by both artist and photographer, the book captures one of the most enduring visual collaborations in modern music.

The binding colours – turquoise and magenta – are inspired by Sukita’s 1977 Heroes session portraits. Printed on heavyweight matt art paper and quarter-bound in bespoke-dyed fine-grain leather onto turquoise cloth personally selected by Bowie, the cover features an inset mirrored acrylic plate bearing a Heroes outtake.

Housed in a black buckram slipcase with foil detailing and leather accents, the edition includes a specially pressed 7-inch picture disc of It’s No Game (Parts 1 and 2). Text appears in both English and Japanese.

This copy has remained in the publisher’s custody since publication and is supplied in complete, mint boxed condition, accompanied by an original 2012 Speed of Life prospectus.

With very few co-signed Collector copies now remaining in the Genesis archive, this represents a rare opportunity to acquire the edition directly from the publisher.

Speed of Life - Deluxe

Rare Editions 2026

Only 1 Deluxe Artist Proof copy available, signed by David Bowie and Masayoshi Sukita.

The Deluxe edition of Speed of Life represents the most complete expression of the four-decade creative partnership between David Bowie and Masayoshi Sukita. This Artist Proof copy, numbered in Roman numerals, was reserved at the time of publication and not made generally available.

Conceived as a book, print and vinyl boxed set, the edition brings together Sukita’s photography, an artist-signed fine art print and an exclusive 7-inch record in a single archival presentation.

Fully bound in lacquered turquoise calfskin leather, plated to a high gloss finish, the natural full grain of the aniline leather ensures each volume possesses its own unique character. The cover features a mirrored plate inset with a previously unseen outtake from Sukita’s celebrated 1977 Heroes session.

Exclusive to the Deluxe edition is an artist-signed photographic print – a studio portrait of Bowie reproduced as an archival C-Type print on Fuji Crystal Archive paper (297mm × 225mm / 12" × 9") and individually signed by Masayoshi Sukita.

Also included is a specially pressed 7-inch picture disc presenting Parts 1 and 2 of Bowie’s 1980 recording It’s No Game, originally released on Scary Monsters.

The Deluxe volume, print and vinyl are housed in a hand-bound drop-back solander case in black buckram and Japanese silks, with a recessed compartment for the record.

This Artist Proof copy has remained in the publisher’s custody since publication and is supplied in complete, mint boxed condition, accompanied by an original 2012 Speed of Life prospectus.

With only a very small number of Deluxe Artist Proofs ever produced, this represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most sought-after editions of Speed of Life directly from the publisher.
