From the Photograph Portfolio 2015, an edition of only 25, Ringo's intimate photograph of John Lennon was taken whilst The Beatles were in Miami to film their second appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, February 1964. The Beatles' first visit to America saw the arrival of 'Beatlemania'. The group landed at JFK airport and charmed the media, played on the Ed Sullivan Show and at the Washington Coliseum and famously met Cassius Clay after which they performed again on the Ed Sullivan Show at the Deauville Hotel in Florida.This is the last copy available of this Kodachrome colour photograph of John Lennon and is a superb collector's piece.
