This weekend, Olivia Harrison appeared at London's oldest and possibly most well-known bookshop, Hatchards Piccadilly, at a reader event celebrating her new book,
Came The Lightening. Speaking in conversation with Hitomi Grace Utsugi, the creator of the website and poetry initiative, 'A Poetic Conversation', their discussion dug deep into the creation of the book that dedicates twenty new poems to the memory of the late George Harrison.
'One of the most beautiful new books in contemporary poetry.' - Hitomi Grace Utsugi
Sharing stories of George and identifying common themes within the collection of poems, Utsugi and Harrison allowed readers a special insight into both the writing of the poems and their autobiographical subject matter. The conversation was then opened up to accept audience questions before Olivia signed and dedicated books for readers.
