This Saturday, the Scaffold are reuniting for an exclusive and special live show celebrating sixty years of the band.
Mike McCartney, John Gorman and Roger McGough will return to Liverpool's the Everyman for one night only.
The band first came together as part of the Merseyside Arts Festival in October 1962, as told by Mike McCartney in his edition,
Mike McCartney's Early Liverpool, and made their debut at a venue that would soon after be renamed as the Everyman. They went on to present their distinctive mix of comedy and poetry to packed theatres both around the UK and across the world, they became staples on peak-time TV and they produced a string of hit records including 'Thank U Very Much', 'Lily the Pink' and 'Liverpool Lou'
