Dylan: My Back Pages

Bob Dylan’s 30th anniversary concert is now being released on DVD. The celebration was held on October 16th 1992 at Madison Square Garden, and featured a stellar cast of musicians, including fellow Traveling Wilburys George Harrison and Tom Petty (pictured left).

In their limited edition book, George Harrison described the experience of recording with Dylan.

You can click here to watch Dylan, Petty and Harrison, along with Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Roger McGuinn and Booker T and the MGs, performing ‘My Back Pages’. Although the song was released on Another Side of Bob Dylan in 1964, Dylan didn’t actually play it live until 1988, just 4 years prior to this version.
