Tony Sheridan 1940-2013

Tony Sheridan passed away on Saturday, February 16th, aged 72. Sheridan was a major influence on The Beatles when they played with him in Germany in the early 1960s, introducing them to the sounds and styles that would shape their early image. The Beatles jumped at the chance to be part of Sheridan's house band at the Top Ten club and released 'My Bonnie' under the name Tony Sheridan and the Beat Boys in Germany, and as Tony Sheridan and The Beatles in the UK. Sheridan has since worked as a musician and author, and we're honoured to have had the chance to collaborate with him.
