David Bowie and Iggy Pop's Berlin days are going to be the
subject of a new biopic, Lust For Life. The
duo's time in the city during the 1970s produced Bowie's albums Low, Heroes and Lodger and Iggy's The
Idiot and Lust For Life, and Bowie revisited Berlin in his latest single
'Where Are We Now?'
'Lust for Life is not
a traditional rock biopic, for no-one dies at the end.' - Egoli Tossell,
producer
He added that the main character of the film will be the
divided city of Berlin, which inspired the two artists. Tossell will be joining
producers Altered Image, director Gabriel Range and writer Robin French to
produce the film.
