Yoko Ono: To The Light

London's Serpentine Gallery is holding an exhibition of Yoko Ono's work, running from 19th June- 9th September 2012. 'To The Light' is a celebration of Yoko Ono's impact on art, music, film and performance over five decades. It includes work from her days in the Fluxus movement, working with John Cage; the famous Cut Piece and Bottoms films; pieces from the Indica show where she met John Lennon; and recent projects such as the worldwide participatory project, #smilesfilm.

'With a new show at the Serpentine that's playful and thoughtful simultaneously, Yoko Ono succeeds in making us all smile.' - The Telegraph

'Fly and Cut Piece give us an alternative vision of the world, rather than easy answers.' - The Independent

'Cut Piece is Ono's masterpiece but there is plenty more here that proves she is a genuinely original and enduringly significant artist.' - London Evening Standard
