Ross Halfin, rock photographer and Genesis author, has been interviewed by the New York Times about his travel photography and new book, SOJOURNER. In the interview he shares his tips on how to find and capture stunning views and portraits across the globe.
'Uluwatu Temple in Bali is on the edge of the sea. It's on a cliff, actually, a thousand-foot drop. This way you're looking at the sea dead-on, from above, and you get these amazing textures and colors; the ocean crashing into the shore; all these layers.' - Ross Halfin, 2012, the New York Times interview
Genesis presents a collection of Halfin's best travel photographs taken in quiet moments whilst travelling the world as a rock photographer for bands such as The Who and The Rolling Stones. SOJOURNER additionally features a foreword by Jimmy Page, on whose book Halfin acted as Consultant Editor.
'He's a damn fine photographer.' - Jimmy Page
