The Rolling Stones will be taking part in the Concert for
Sandy Relief tomorrow, 12th December. Mick Jagger agreed to perform
after John Sykes and Harvey Weinstein, two producers from the charity
fundraiser, visited the band to make a personal appeal.
As well as sharing the stage with performers such as Eric
Clapton, Paul McCartney and Roger Waters tomorrow, the Stones will be joined by
special guests on the last dates of their '50 and Counting' tour. Mary J Blige will be singing once more on Thursday 13th, and guests Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and The Black Keys will play alongside the Stones at the final show.
'We're excited these extraordinary artists have agreed to help celebrate our
50th anniversary as we share the night live with our fans all over the world.' -
