Steven Van Zandt: Enlightened by the Eternal Gift of Traffic

Steven Van Zandt has found
time, amidst filming a hit TV show and preparing to tour with the Bruce
Springsteen Band, to write a detailed contribution to
MR. FANTASY in tribute to
Traffic's Jim Capaldi. Steven tells the Traffic tale, from their timely birth
just before the Summer of Love in 1967, to their fabled lifestyle and musical
adventures that provided an archetype for contemporary and future musicians.

The impact that Jim's
passion, presence and poetry had on his peers is evident from the sheer volume
of contributors:
MR FANTASY features an ever-expanding list of over 30
legendary musicians, including a foreword by Robert Plant. These personal
recollections accompany Jim Capaldi's inspirational handwritten lyrics,
original photographs, and signatures from Aninha Capaldi, Robert Plant and
