National Record Store Day

Saturday 21st April is National Record Store Day, in which independently owned record shops in the US and UK come together with artists to celebrate music. Limited edition releases are issued to mark the event, including unreleased and iconic material from Genesis authors.

David Bowie's Top of the Pops performance of 'Starman' is being released alongside the original single on a limited edition picture disc. Lou Reed's iconic albums Transformer and Rock and Roll Animal are to be reissued, along with classic material fromPaul McCartney and Small Faces; Pete Townshend's Quadrophenia Demos Part 2; and a new track from Paul Weller.
