Beatles Get Back to Where They Belong

Abbey Road Studio celebrates 80 years of recording this year, 2012, with a host of events. As the album that immortalised the world-renowned studio, it is fitting that the Beatles' Abbey Road has just topped the US vinyl charts for the third year in a row. 43 years after its original release, Abbey Road returned to beat competition from contemporary artists such as Radiohead and Adele, demonstrating a continued love for the London studio and Liverpudlian band.

Genesis limited edition SUMMER OF LOVE takes you behind the Abbey Road mixing desk alongside producer George Martin for a unique insight into the recording process of Sgt. Pepper in 1967.

'When Geoff and I strolled in at about 11pm, Studio Two was in the grip of a controlled riot. The boys had decided it would be fun to lay down an 'unusual' rhythm track for 'Strawberry Fields Forever' on their own, with anyone and everyone available simply banging away on whatever came to hand.
