Football was not the only one coming home over the weekend as Eric Clapton came home to headline the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, after touring in Germany earlier in the week.
Embracing the heatwave, Clapton played late last night (8th July) in the headlining slot reserved for legends. He was joined by other Crossroads guitar virtuosos, including Santana, Steve Winwood, Doyle Bramhall and Gary Clark Jr. They played to an audience of 65,000, as people flocked to see Clapton and his band.
Eric Clapton is featured in the Genesis edition Sunshine Of Your Love. An official limited edition book that details the story of the Crossroads Guitar Festivals, 1999-2013. The edition combines interviews and photos of Eric Clapton and fellow Crossroads musicians - including those who accompanied Clapton in Hyde Park over the weekend.
If you missed the chance to see Clapton and his band in London, he takes to the stage again on the 6th and 7th of October 2018 in Madison Square Garden, New York.
