Chuck D Surprises Fans at Book Signing

Rough Trade hosted a very special book signing with Chuck D last night. 100 lucky Livin' Loud customers attended a signing with a difference. In a marathon three hour signing session, every book buyer came home with a sketched portrait of themself, drawn by the Hip Hop legend, in their copy. Chuck shared with his sitters that he described his quick sketches as ''courtroom style" and that he liked to be challenged artistically every day.

 

When asked by a fan if his hands were hurting he simply replied that, "my hands are made of iron and steel". An artistic, as well as musical legend, the fans were delighted to have so much time to chat to their idol, grab a selfie and receive his iconic fist bump.
