Celebrating Yoko Ono
15 Feb 2024
On the eve of her 91st birthday, a retrospective of Yoko Ono's work, YOKO ONO: MUSIC OF THE MIND, opens today at the Tate Modern in London. It promises to be Ono's largest UK exhibition celebrating key moments in her groundbreaking, influential, and multidisciplinary career. The show covers Ono's artwork from the mid-1950s to now - including her years in London where she met her future husband and longtime collaborator, John Lennon.
A great many of the works on display, including
Cut Piece, and Ono's famous
Wishing Trees, are included in her signed limited edition,
Infinite Universe at Dawn, a life-spanning retrospective covering eight decades of art.
