A collaboration between legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk and skate photographer J. Grant Brittain, Genesis Publications is delighted to announce our latest edition, offering a visual journey through Tony Hawk's life and career in skateboarding.
'Grant has been documenting my skating career since before either one of us realized that skateboarding - or skateboard photography - could be a career. Through renowned and never-before-seen photographs, Hawk traces his beginnings through Del Mar Skate Ranch, where he met Brittain, up to the present day, as well as all the highs and lows in between. Alongside this will be an assortment of rare ephemera from across their respective careers, sourced from Hawk and Brittain's own archives.

Hawk and Brittain's exciting new edition will include exclusive commentary from both authors, along with insights from writer Sean Mortimer, a former Powell Peralta team rider, editor of Skateboarder magazine, and great friend of Hawk. Interviews will also be featured with a wide range of Hawk's peers and those he has inspired, both within and beyond the skateboarding world.
