We Will Rock You - Again
18 Apr 2008
Brian May has announced that there will be a sequel to the hit musical -We Will Rock You-. Since its London opening in 2002, around five million people worldwide have enjoyed the Ben Elton-penned show which is set 300 years in the future and features nearly 30 classic Queen tracks.
Queen was the rarest of breeds: both genius in the studio and utterly brilliant performing live. The signed limited edition book Killer Queen, by Genesis Publications, captures that potent, magical mix. Through Mick Rock-s archive of Queen photographs, many of which have never been published before, it takes us from their explosive breakthrough gig in 1973 at Imperial College to their infamous free concert in Hyde Park, 1976.
BRIAN MAY: -Mick Rock is, and always was, a class act. We met, he and we young Queenies, at a point in our careers where the skies had opened up and creatively the scope of our journey was limitless - very exciting times.-
Each copy of Killer Queen is personally signed by Brian May and Mick Rock, and is available to order here.
