Csn Return With First Studio Album Since 1994
22 Jul 2008
Due in 2009 and produced by the legendary Rick Rubin, CSN will come together in the studio for the first time in 14 years to produce an album of their favourite songs. It will not feature a single CSN lyric. Instead, a list of 60 proposed songs were whittled down by David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash through a long series of discussions with Rubin.
Graham Nash: 'He (Rubin) wants to do an album of all the songs we love, all the songs we wished we'd written. It's brilliant from this point of view because we usually wait five years to record an album.'
Crosby, Stills and Nash have been involved in a number of projects recently. With the release of the documentary 'CSNY: Deja vu' on Friday (25th July) along with their insightful input on Henry Diltz's 'California Dreaming' book, they are certainly giving their fans exactly what they want - more.
