Sound And Vision For Cancer Research

Cancer Research UK is hosting an auction of rock photography, art and memorabilia at Abbey Road Studios on February 27.

Many Genesis photographers and authors are involved, including Kate Simon, Mick Rock, Gered Mankowitz, Klaus Voormann, Storm Thorgerson and Sir George Martin. Genesis will be contributing a book to the auction. Tickets for the night cost £100.

Bid on original rock photography, visit the studio in which The Beatles recorded, and see John Lennon's piano. There will be a rare opportunity to bid for yourself and a friend to fly to New York to recreate the 1963 Freewheelin' Bob Dylan album cover with its original photographer, Don Hunstein. Alternatively you and four friends could go to Primrose Hill to recreate the Rolling Stones 1967 Between the Buttons cover before having lunch with photographer Gered Mankowitz.
