25 Mar 2003Genesis Publications has long been associated with limited editions on rock and roll. However, the company, founded in 1974, originally published leather-bound historical volumes with forewords written by the late Lord Mountbatten, Prince Charles and The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. These volumes included illustrated facsimiles of ships' logs and journals relating to daring voyages of discovery such as 'The Journal of a Voyage in HMS Beagle' by Charles Darwin and 'James Cook's Journal of HMS Resolution'. Indeed, it was these volumes which impressed George Harrison enough to encourage him to create 'I Me Mine' for publication by Genesis. We have now added pages on our website dedicated to these historical editions, which incidentally make wonderful gifts.
Since 1974 Genesis has created signed limited edition books on behalf of authors and artists ranging from the Beatles to Buckingham Palace.
