On The Beatles' first visit to Hamburg in 1960, they met Astrid Kirchherr: a budding photographer who quickly became close friends with the band. It was four years later when Astrid, together with fellow photographer Max Scheler, visited The Beatles on their home turf. This trip resulted in the photographs that appear in GOLDEN DREAMS.

'No other journalists were allowed near them.' - Astrid Kirchherr
