Marc Bolan, near Paris 1972
"I worked with Marc a great deal during his period of phenomenal successes at the beginning of the Seventies. I remember every where we went being constantly besieged by screaming girls. He became quite grand. I remember everywhere at the height of his fame he asked me if he could borrow a camera and when I said it was all set and you only have to focus, he handed it to an aide saying to me "Michael, I have people to focus my cameras for me." I was rather fond of him though. This shot was taken during a recording session at Le Châteaux studios somewhere near Paris."
