CLASSIC HENDRIX (DELUXE)
The Ultimate Hendrix Experience
Another rapid seller and all the Deluxe copies were gone soon after being
announced.
We drew on our past for the stunning binding of this limited edition
utilising the silkscreened aluminium covers with leather spine technique
that received so much acclaim for the binding of our John Lennon title
Sometime In New York City. The Regular copies of 'Classic Hendrix' also
feature this innovative metal and leather binding and a few copies
remain.

The Deluxe copies were numbered 1 to 350 and supplied in a full leather box
blocked in six fluorescent colours. This distinctive package also
included a signed Baron Wolman image of Hendrix, unique to the Deluxe
copies. Six different coloured ribbon markers also adorn each Deluxe book.
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry kindly wrote a foreword to Classic Hendrix and
autographed each Deluxe copy.
Classic Hendrix was published late in 2004 after our Bob Marley limited
edition Rebel Music. Both titles appeared to critical acclaim but our Marley
title attracted higher levels of media interest. This was largely due to the
fact that the press had become 'Hendrixed-out' from devoting much coverage
to the Hendrix exhibition and auction which preceded our launch. It's all
about timing. Remarkably, we still have in stock a handful of the Deluxe
copies of Rebel Music signed by Eric Clapton. This is a superb volume and an
important item for any collector's library.
Such icons. Some are dead and some are living but in my life ......
