Price: £235

"Ronnie Wood reminisces about his time in the Stones, Jeff Beck Group and The Faces, dolled up with paintings of the stars he's met along the way (Muddy Waters, Elvis and ex-flatmate Jimi Hendrix)."
The Guardian's Guide, 28th June 2003

This superb new limited edition from Genesis Publications is an intimate look at Ronnie Wood's prolific painting, from his early art-school beginnings to the present day. The collection ranges from portraits of The Rolling Stones and many other famous luminaries and friends such as Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, John Lennon and Keith Moon, to sketches drawn at home, on holiday and on tour. Some of the pictures are great favourites but many of them are previously unseen, including several sketches Ronnie recently managed to draw in between shows on the Bridges to Babylon tour. Every piece of artwork has been hand-picked from Ronnie's vast archive of sketch books and files.

Ronnie Wood

Ronnie has many funny tales, and he provides humourous stories and anecdotes about the people he has painted. In a text of over 8,000 words, Ronnie talks candidly about himself, his tremendous musical career spanning more than thirty years as one of the world's great guitarists and his second passion and talent in life, painting. He recalls the early days with his first band The Birds, followed by his apprenticeship on bass with The Jeff Beck Group, fun and games with The Faces and ultimately twenty-two years with the most popular and successful rock'n'roll band in the world - The Rolling Stones. Ronnie reveals to us his thoughts and feelings about being a Stone and his relationships with the other members of the band.

RONNIE REMRANDT! Keith Richards

The finishing touch to this remarkable limited edition is a four-track CD which features two classic songs, 'Breathe On Me' and 'Somebody Else Might'. It also includes two previously unreleased tracks 'So High' and 'Interfere', which was recently recorded with Bob Dylan at Ronnie's studio at his home in Ireland.

This edition is strictly limited to 2,500 numbered copies, each individually autographed by Ronnie Wood.
This 144-page volume is produced to the very highest standards. Ninety-six pages are master printed on 200gsm cartridge paper and 48 on luxurious Italian coloured and textured papers.
Most pages are printed in four-colour and, on some, special inks, including silver, have been used. The book is quarter-bound in rich black cloth with the front and back boards covered in an exquisite blue art paper, and the spine blocked in silver.
Inside the front cover is the four-track CD on which Ronnie has been joined by Bob Dylan, Ian McLagan, Bobby Womack and The Edge.
The book is housed in a stunning orange and blue silk-screened black cloth slipcase. Trimmed page size: 320mm x 240mm.
