THE BOOK
Over 30 years have passed since an assassination attempt caused Bob Marley to flee Jamaica for England, where he concluded recording what would become his most famous album, Exodus. At his home in London, and through the summer of 1976, as Marley embarked upon the Exodus world tour, Kate Simon composed images that would form one of the the most acclaimed photographic collections of Bob Marley & The Wailers ever seen.
Thirty years on, as we celebrate the anniversary of Exodus, Genesis is proud to offer 30 books - taken from the original limited edition of 2000 - as special anniversary editions of Rebel Music, Bob Marley & Roots Reggae.
Each book is housed in a bespoke wooden box and is accompanied with one of 30 original prints, as used in the making of the book. Each print is signed by Kate Simon and include her own pencil-written captions on the verso.
