Thanks to the invaluable assistance of the Royal Collection and the major Jockey Clubs of the world, Thoroughbreds of the Crown features a wealth of beautifully-reproduced paintings and photographs. Her Majesty the Queen has kindly given permission for paintings, prints and drawings from the Royal Collection to be reproduced, many never previously seen by the public or published. These have been specially photographed for this project from the walls of Sandringham House, St James's Palace, Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. Further reproductions have been made from institutions such as the Jockey Club, France Galop, the Saratoga Racing Museum, the Baden-Baden Internationaler Club, Victoria Racing Club, the Argentine Jockey Club, Sotheby's and the Richard Green Gallery.
