Happy New Year from Genesis Publications
We'd like to thank everyone for their continued support last year and wish you all a very happy 2012.
2011 was a great year for Genesis, starting with the release of SOJOURNER, a stunning collection of travel images by renowned photographer Ross Halfin with an introduction by Jimmy Page. This was followed by the release of FACES 1969-75, a celebration of the band's career that coincided with their first tour since the Seventies. A busy year for Ronnie Wood, he also premiered his Rolling Stone portraits, the FAMOUS FLAMES SUITE at the Genesis House Gallery in October.
2012 is set to continue the trend of exciting new releases starting with the Bowie/Sukita collaboration SPEED OF LIFE, which is to feature unseen images of David Bowie by his favourite photographer accompanied by commentary by both authors. This year we also celebrate the life of late Traffic founder, drummer, and poet: Jim Capaldi. Upcoming limited edition MR FANTASY features hand-written lyrics and recollections from over 30 legendary musicians including Pete Townshend, Brian May, Alice Cooper and Paul Weller.

Ronnie Wood
Painting at full throttle, and with technical prowess, Wood gives the art lover an exhilarating and thrilling front row view of the Stones on stage, as his vibrant paintings convey the electricity of a live performance. The intensity that Ronnie Wood brings to his guitar playing on stage is brilliantly echoed on canvas and paper as he translates the rawness of a Rolling Stones performance through rhythmic lines, bold colours and awesomely accurate facial expressions.
