The Doors: “When You’re Strange”
The Idea Generation Gallery is celebrating the release of “When You’re Strange”, a new feature documentary about The Doors narrated by Johnny Depp, by opening its doors to the public with a stunning exhibition of the bands photography. Works includes examples from Joel Brodsky, Bobby Klein, Ken Regan and CALIFORNIA DREAMING-author Henry Diltz and runs until 27th August (Click here for more information).
In CALIFORNIA DREAMING Henry is joined by Doors group members Ray Manzarek, Robby Kreiger and 50 more musicians and contributors. The book recounts a golden age in the LA music scene, from Morrison Hotel to Desperado and beyond. From The Byrds, The Doors, to Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, James Taylor and Neil Young. Henry Diltz knew and photographed them all.
