The BRIT Awards 2011
Following on the heels of the Grammy Awards last weekend, yesterday was the turn of the British with the BRIT Awards 2011. Hosted by comedian James Corden it was held at London's O2 Arena for the first time. With the traditional show closer of the lifetime achievement award not being presented this year, the highlight of the night came with the Best Album award which went to folk rock group Mumford and Sons for Sigh No More. Presented by Roger Daltrey the group were fresh in from the US after performing with Bob Dylan at the Grammy ceremony.'It's good to see the British music industry still has enough money for a good booze-up' - Roger Daltrey
