Secret Sticky Stones Show

The Rolling Stones played an intimate surprise gig last night ahead of their ZIP CODE tour, which officially begins on Sunday, May 24 in San Diego. The show at the Fonda Theatre in LA celebrated the reissue of Sticky Fingers with a full performance of the iconic album.

'We're gonna do the whole of STICKY FINGERS! In the order of the 8 track tape…' – Rolling Stones’ official twitter

Sticky Fingers was released four years before Ronnie Wood joined the band, but, as Charlie Watts wrote in his foreword to HOW CAN IT BE, Ronnie always knew he was ‘destined to be a Stone.’

‘There he has stubbornly remained for the last forty years, despite our continued efforts to call him the new boy!’ – Charlie Watts
