That Lucky Old Sun in L.A.

On the same day the L.A. Times announced Brian Wilson is to complete unfinished songs by George Gershwin - left untouched since the composer's passing in 1937 - Brian attended a special unveiling of the new series of artworks created in his honour by Sir Peter Blake.

The original artworks, exclusive to the Genesis book & print set That Lucky Old Sun, were given a fabulous reception last Thurs 8th October at the Taschen store in Beverly Hills. Genesis subscribers were treated to pomegranate martinis and joined by Brian and members of his band, Jeff Foskett and Scott Bennett.

Special guests such as Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, of America, were on hand to have their own copies of That Lucky Old Sun personalised by Brian. Our grateful thanks to all who attended.
