Sky Arts Lights Up The Dark Side of the Moon
Visitors to Primrose Hill, London, this evening will be illuminated by a large version of one of Pink Floyd’s most famous album covers ‘Dark Side of the Moon’. It has been put in place to highlight the imminent showing of ‘Pulse: Dark Side Of The Moon Live’, the band's 1994 performance at Earls Court on the Sky Arts television channel.A creation of Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell this particular album artwork is one of the most recognisable in the world. The Genesis limited edition boxed set TAKEN BY STORM features not only the original artwork but also some of the many forms it has taken over the years – see below for more details.
