Chris Blackwell Honoured At 2009 Music Week Awards

Chris Blackwell has been named as the most influential figure in the last 50 years of the British music industry at the 2009 Music Week Awards. Credited with introducing the world to Bob Marley, U2 and Traffic, the Island Records founder was chosen over such luminary figures as Sir George Martin, Brian Epstein and Harvey Goldsmith.

Blackwell contributes extensively and features in Rebel Music by Kate Simon, the signed limited edition that charts the life of Bob Marley through the lens of Kate Simon. It includes legendary photographs such as the Kaya shoot and the 1975 concert at the Lyceum, London. Click here to read more and order your copy.
