Buy Art Fair 2009
After its debut last year, the Buy Art Fair 2009 returned to Manchester last weekend for its three day consumer art exhibition (24-27th September). Genesis was in attendance, showcasing its latest titles - including the incredible THAT LUCKY OLD SUN print and book set by Sir Peter Blake and Brian Wilson, WOODSTOCK EXPERIENCE with its full collection of art and ephemera and TAKEN BY STORM, the artwork of Storm Thorgerson presented as a mammoth boxed set.The event brought together the work of over 300 artists and 75 galleries not only to exhibit their latest works but give art buyers the chance to view a huge variety of work that they would not normally be able to see in one place.
John Dare, Show Director of Buy Art Fair: 'One of the biggest barriers to buying original art is the way in which it is bought and sold. Last year we set out to remove that barrier and make art accessible to all.'
