The Who On Tour - Usa And Japan
This autumn The Who are playing a string of dates across America (October 21 to Nov 9) and Japan (from Nov 13 to 17). They finish in time to attend The Kennedy Center Honours on Dec 7, where they will be recognised for a lifetime of outstanding achievement. The event is hosted by John F. Kennedy’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy.Pete Townshend: ‘Roger and I both feel our work in the United States has been as important as our work at home. Because our medium, rock music, is quintessentially American music with broad and deep international and multicultural roots, this honour is especially meaningful to us Brits.’
Genesis has been fortunate to work with the ‘greatest live rock ‘n’ roll band in the world’ on two occasions. The Who Live shows exactly why they merit such an accolade and Maximum Who focuses on the band as they stormed through the Sixties. Both titles are available to order now, click here to read more and order your copy.
