A Garden For George - Online

Following on from the success of the George Harrison-inspired garden at the 2008 Chelsea Flower Show (see here) a website taking you through the design, development and implementation of the installation has just been launched (www.georgeharrison.com/garden). Fans can review all the horticultural processes through a wealth of video clips, a vast gallery of images and exclusive interviews with garden designers Olivia Harrison and Yvonne Innes.

George was a keen gardener, dedicating his autobiography, I Me Mine, to 'gardeners everywhere'. He published his book with Genesis after seeing a copy of Captain Bligh's Log of HMS Bounty (available in 1975 for £158 - approximately £700 in today's money).
