Pleased To Meet You - Sold Out
Michael Putland’s Pleased To Meet You has now sold out with just two copies left in the edition that are sure to be snapped up today. This limited edition book, featuring stunning live shots and intimate moments backstage of the Rolling Stones touring throughout the Seventies, now makes it way to our illustrious Hall of Fame.Michael Putland: “It’s only now, looking back, that I realise how trusting of me they were.’
Pleased To Meet You was published in 1999 and limited to just 1,750 copies, each one signed by Michael with a foreword by Mick Taylor. It was the first time Putland’s images had ever been published, exhibited, or even presented in such an exquisite form. Rolling Stone magazine called it ‘opulent’ while the Guardian described it as capturing ‘an aura of druggy, dissolute menace backstage.’
We still have a few of the following Rolling Stones titles in stock and, if ordered promptly, can be delivered in time for Christmas.
TOTA ’75 – The Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas 1975
