Liverpool Papers Greet Postcards From The Boys
Liverpool's morning paper, the Daily Post, has just devoted almost its whole Page 3 to Ringo and Postcards From the Boys.The article, stated: 'Postcards offers a fascinating and intimate glimpse into the private world of the most famous band in the world, both before and after their acrimonious break-up in 1970.
'Postcards ... reveals a very different side to the group than the one shown in other publications about the Beatles.'
Similarly, Liverpool's evening paper, The Liverpool Echo, ran a story, entitled 'Ringo's Stamps of Approval', with a picture of him holding the book.
