Bbc Radio 2 Says Killer Queen Is 'amazing'
One of BBC's most popular shows, The Steve Wright Show on Radio 2, has called Killer Queen 'an amazing book of photographs, chronicling a period in the life of Queen.'On Wednesday DJ Mark Goodier, standing in for Steve Wright, was full of praise for our Mick Rock, Brian May, Roger Taylor book, saying it contains 'a lot of gems with a fantastic commentary by Roger Taylor and others.'
'It's a sort of coffee table book' he told his 3.5 million listeners, 'with work by the famous, famous photographer, Mick Rock, and Mick has managed to capture defining moments of Queen's early days with his photos.'
Goodier added that the book had revealed things he never knew about the group. His guest, drummer, Roger Taylor, said 'Queen goes back along with Mick Rock. We first met him in the early 70s when he was doing his Ziggy photos with Bowie. He's very creative and we loved his work.'
