Playback Us Launch A Huge Success

Playback was launched in America on Saturday 10th May at 1pm at the New York Barnes and Noble bookstore on East 17th Street.

Sir George Martin spoke to a gathering of some 500 people on his career and the making of Playback.

One hundred copies of the Playback limited edition were allocated to Barnes and Noble for this event. The afternoon was a huge success and many people enjoyed the opportunity to meet Sir George. By the end of the hour all the hundred books were sold, and it was a little unfortunate that some people didn't get a chance to obtain a copy on the day.
