New York Times Features Postcards

The NY Times on Sunday (7th December) ran a very colourful feature on our new Ringo title, Postcards From The Boys. It has taken us 20 years to persuade the former Beatle to do a book with us and now it is causing great interest internationally.

The NY Times piece by Lizetter Alvarez is entitled 'Dear Ringo: Having a Great Time. Wish You Were Here', and states:

'The postcards in the book are often amusing, sometimes touching and occasionally trite. But in their whimsy they offer a fresh, unfiltered look at the goings-on of the Beatles at the peak of their popularity and beyond.

The hand-written messages, and Mr Starr's textual asides ... chart the band members' evolutionÊin a way: they marry, divorce and remarry, add children to the mix, do battle, tell jokes, commiserate and egg each other on....'
