Classic Hendrix

Genesis is proud to be working on the ultimate tribute to Jimi Hendrix. For the last two years Ross Halfin (aided by Sally Crick) has been diligently carrying out picture research to produce a most unusual and comprehensive finely produced edition on Jimi Hendrix. To this end, he has already made several trips to America and this month visits Tokyo and Paris to search archives and complete publishing deals for rare and previously unseen photographs of Hendrix. An informed text is being prepared by Brad Tolinski in New York.

In his foreword to this large format book, Ross Halfin states, 'The point I'm trying to make is that everybody loves Jimi Hendrix. The book shows him from every perspective. There was no-one like him, or who will ever replace him. He was embraced by black and white audiences alike, something which his jazz peers such as Miles Davis and John Coltrane never achieved.'

This limited edition will be of major interest to Hendrix fans all over the world and to anyone interested in music culture.

Classic Hendrix should be ready for Christmas. The first 350 copies will be Deluxe copies and it is anticipated that these will be reserved very quickly indeed.
