Belgian Beats 200 Others From All Over The World In When We Was Fab Competition
A gentleman from Dilbeek, Belgium has beaten all others in the web competition run by the Liverpool Echo. icliverpool.co.uk ran the contest last month for a free copy of When We Was Fab, Astrid Kirchherr's recently published book with Genesis.Mr Raphael Vandenberghe was one of several hundred entrants from all over the world, including Sweden, Macedonai, Brazil and Uruguay, who clicked on to the Liverpool Echo site.
Of course there were also locals from Merseyside who tried to win the £425 book and the Liverpool web were delighted with the turn out. Competition executive Gillian Guilfoyle says: "We're really very happy with the number of people who took part - which was a little more than usual for us."
